Heart of Soooka

Our Story

How a simple love for home-cooked food became a neighbourhood favourite in Damansara Perdana.

The Beginning

A Vision for Modern Comfort

Founded by Francis and Esther, Soooka Cafe began as a simple dream: to redefine what "comfort food" looks like in the modern Malaysian landscape.

The name Soooka comes from the Malay word 'suka' (to like/love). We wanted to create a space where everyone feels an instant connection — not just through the food, but through the warmth of our hospitality and the cosiness of our space.

Every recipe in our kitchen is a tribute to our heritage, elevated with global techniques and the freshest local ingredients we can find. From our artisanal cakoi — sourced from a master with 25 years of frying experience — to our slow-braised duck noodles simmered for hours in Thai-Teochew herbal broth, every dish tells a story.

We believe food should be made with heart and served with genuine care. That's why we prepare everything from scratch, never using MSG or artificial enhancers. Our homemade sambals, broths, and sauces are crafted daily to bring you the most authentic flavours possible.
