The Heart of Soooka Cafe
Our comfort bowls are where tradition meets innovation. Every dish at Soooka Cafe draws from the deep well of Malaysian and Chinese culinary heritage, then elevates it with modern techniques and uncompromising ingredient quality. These are the dishes that regulars travel across the Klang Valley to enjoy. Soul-warming bowls that taste like home, but better.
Everything is prepared from scratch, without MSG. Learn more about why we cook without MSG. Our broths simmer for hours, our sambals are ground fresh daily, and our fish paste is made in-house. This is comfort food the way it should be.

Our Comfort Bowl Menu
Braised Duck Flat White Noodles - RM22.90
The crown jewel of our menu. Tender slow-braised duck is shredded over springy flat white noodles (kuey teow), bathed in a Thai and Teochew-inspired herbal broth that has been simmering for hours. Finished with our homemade spicy sambal for those who want an extra kick. Rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. This dish alone has earned us countless five-star reviews.
Handmade Fish Paste Ball Porridge - RM17.90
Silky smooth porridge topped with our QQ handmade fish paste balls that are bouncy, springy, and packed with the natural sweetness of fresh fish. Finished with crispy cakoi coins for texture and garnished with spring onions and white pepper. The combination of textures (creamy porridge, springy fish balls, and crispy cakoi) makes this dish a comforting masterpiece.
Seafood Noodle - RM22.90
A generous bowl featuring prawn, scallops, and oyster swimming in a light curry-leaf-infused broth. The cream and spiciness are balanced, flavourful without being overwhelming. A dish that showcases the ocean’s bounty with a distinctly Malaysian twist.
Fish Meehoon - RM15.90
A lighter option for those who prefer delicate flavours. Clear, clean broth with smooth slices of fresh fish over thin rice vermicelli (meehoon). Simple, honest, and deeply comforting, perfect for days when you crave something nourishing without heaviness.
Beef Noodles - RM19.90
Tender braised beef in a robust, aromatic broth served over your choice of noodles. Slow-cooked until the beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender, this dish delivers deep, beefy flavour with a hint of Chinese five-spice warmth.
Nasi Lemak - RM17.90
Our take on Malaysia’s national dish. Fragrant coconut rice served with sambal, crispy accompaniments, and a generous portion of protein. Every element is prepared in-house, from the sambal to the coconut rice, because Nasi Lemak deserves nothing less.

The Soooka Difference
What sets our comfort bowls apart is not just the recipes. It is the care. Francis and Esther personally oversee every dish that leaves the kitchen. The duck broth? Simmered fresh each morning. The fish balls? Formed by hand. The sambal? Ground from a recipe that has been refined over years of passionate cooking.
This is comfort food crafted with heart. Every bowl tells a story.
